Family

What experiences in life helped you grow the most?

Family has made me grow the most

Uncomfortable

Unreliable

Unselfish

My childhood was playing cowbows and Indians but I was always the Indian

I made mud pies and pillow forts

I’d read so many books

And then act them out with my brother and sister

Making it so real they would cry

But it was better then crying about our broken family

Now I’m a wife

A wannabe homemaker without a home

I had the best and worst childhood so I don’t where to start

How to help my son enjoy the simplicity of life

But I’m no longer scared of marriage

Just that it will end

It always seems to end

I grow where it hurts the most

Where the roots have engulfed into my skin

Where the vines and branches start to poke out

But I just keep watering them
