Smiles

The smiles I remember the most are the ones from strangers

McDonald’s counters

Holding the door open

The lips of boys smirks I’ve never kissed but wished I had

Planting their grin on my face

Making my worries melt away

The delight of my sons laugh

His open mouth sloppy kisses

Amusement of our silly faces
