The Essence Of Who I Am

I’m so lonely 

I thought I would have someone 

Something 

Everyone on tv has friends 

I watch friends for company

A community 

But that’s just tv 

I’m watching 

While my old friends are friends with each other now

Going to the concerts

I would have died to see 

The irony 

That i’m lonely 

With so many of my old friends around me
