I love people-watching at coffee shops

I am invisible to everyone around me

The couples with their heads so close whispering secrets so close like they aren’t sitting across a table

Is it a first date, an affair, or just friends with some hypocrisy

Girls talking about their singing careers

And screw Hollywood

Men arguing about white supremacy

Politics and coffee

Old women playing Sims on their laptops living a different life right there

Baristas smiling at me

I’ve never felt less alone
