Happiness is a disquse 

Smiling is a lie 

I’m circling the shallows 

Waiting for the sharks to eat me alive 

I’m clawing in the quick sand

Wishing it’s demise was faster 

But I somehow always get out alive 

I’m not living life 

It’s living me 

Using me 

Swallowing me whole 

Leaving me out in the rain
