You were a story in my book

That I return to fondly 

Remember how simple life was 

How your smile could make my day when I was lonely 

I was always lonely

I needed some sun in the rain 

And I honestly hope you’ve forgotten about me

I hope that you are more then happy  

Because you changed my life by just existing 

And noticing me 

You taught me that love wasn’t supposed to hurt

That love was a simple and beautiful thing

That I was worth something

That I was worth everything
